One of my favorite things about teaching is the bassoon workshop I put together every summer. The workshop meets weekly and we all work on bassoon ensemble arrangements of some of the best music written across time. By the end of the summer, we pick our favorite pieces and put on a concert.
Aside from the amazing music that we get to play, another amazing aspect of the workshop is that I get to work with my students on their music in context. We go over so much about playing in an ensemble that can't be done in a one-on-one lesson setting.
Please take a look at the Live Recordings section for performance recording of our work. Hope you enjoy :)
